Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going to appear in major-screen comedies like 'Elf' 'Anchorman,' and Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He started his comedy career by playing an actor for the Los Angeles-based improv group known as the Groundlings. Following his seven-year tenure as a Saturday Night Live cast member, Ferrell was one of the most well-known comedic actors in the industry through off-color hits such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also a co-founder of the wildly popular video streaming site Funny or Die, and had success as a voiceover actor in animated films such as Megamind (2010). The oldest child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and teacher Kay Ferrell, Will was--by his own admissions--not the class clown while a student at University High School. Ferrell who was quiet and reserved and reserved, decided to leave his mark in football in which he established the school record for the most field goals that he made. Ferrell was a more relaxed person in suburban homes and didn't have the same outrageous or funny expressions later in his career. After graduation in 1986 Ferrell attended the University of Southern California at Los Angeles, where he was a member of the Delta Tau fraternity and pursued an education in sports journalism.
