Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born on
September 4, 1981 in Houston, Texas. Her mom, Tina Knowles, creates their
sparkling costumes and her father, Mathew Knowles manages Destiny's Child.
Solange, her older sister (4 years older than her), is releasing her debut
album. She dances alongside her sister during DC-3 concerts. Beyonce's
Louisiana Creole & African descent. Whitney Houston found her and her
group. Lovefool from The Cardigans, is her favorite track. Her top item of
clothing is a pair metallic work boots. She was the writer and producer of some
of the group's best-known songs, including "Jumpin jumpin",
"Bootylicious", Nasty Girl"," Independent Women",
"Happy Face" as well as "Apple Pie A La Mode". She is the
lead singer for Destiny's Child. The group toured with Christina Aguilera as
her opening show (2000). TLC was the opening show (1999). Master P was a cat.

also took home the most awards at this year's (2004) show. Her father, Mathew,
is of African descent. The mother of her, Tina, is of Louisiana Creole ancestry
- mainly African and French and has ancestors from Louisiana as well as, prior
to that, Canada. Beyonce also descends 1/32 Irish as well as her maternal side
has distant Breton-, Spanish-, Indonesian-, and Chinese roots. Has been quoted
as saying that to get over her shyness, she created an acting persona dubbed
"Sasha".
