Evan Rachel Wood was born on the 7th of September, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her father, Ira David Wood III is a stage writer and actor, while her mother Sara Wood is an actress and acting coach. She is the daughter of Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood III, an actor. Evan and her brothers acted in the Theatre In The Park, Raleigh, where her father serves as the director. At the age of five, she was auditioning for the role of Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994). She moved to Los Angeles with her mom and brother Ira in 1996 . She's seen success since and has been featured in a variety of TV show, TV film and feature films.
